The Windows Incident Response Blog is dedicated to the myriad information surrounding and inherent to the topics of IR and digital analysis of Windows systems. This blog provides information in support of my books; "Windows Forensic Analysis" (1st thru 4th editions), "Windows Registry Forensics",
as well as the book I co-authored with Cory Altheide, "Digital Forensics with Open Source Tools".

RipXP Released!
I've decided to release RipXP, which I've demo'd at both SANS Forensic Summits, as is. Go to the RegRipper site Downloads section, and you'll see it. Be sure to read the instructions in the zipped archive...
What would you like me to talk about, beyond what's listed in this blog (just do a search on "ripXP") and at the RegRipper site? If you feel that there is something missing, please let me know so that I can address it. Thanks!
WHOOOHOOO!
ReplyDeletethank you Harlan!
Very anxious to try it out. Very appreciative of the development and sharing of this tool!
Dave
Hi Harlan,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I haven't got a chance to attend the conference. Hence, would you be that kind and post some more information about that tool?
Best regards,
Bartosz
