WFA 2/e Amazon Ranking!

Good news, all...and thanks to @Syngress for tweeting this this morning! Windows Forensic Analysis 2/e is still ranked #1 on Amazon in the Forensics and Windows Security categories! Very cool, and thanks to everyone who has their copy, for purchasing the book.

Looking today, I noticed that Amazon also has a Kindle version priced out...very cool. I don't have a Kindle, but I hope that anyone who does and has a copy of WFA on it finds it just as useful as a paperback edition, if not more so.

Again, thanks to everyone who has purchased a copy of WFA!

I'm waiting for the copy I bought three days ago from Amazon! ;-)

  2. Congratulations on the ranking, Harlan. You've certainly earned it. I’m looking forward to your next book.

Speaking of the Kindle, I recently purchased one and I'm becoming quite fond of it. Has your publisher given you any idea of how long it takes for a book to show up in that format? I'm curious if there is any way to predict that sort of thing or whether it's something more arbitrary.

Well, it's been almost a year...

  4. I purchased the Kindle version which was almost as much as the book. There is so much reference to the media content... Is there a way that kindle users can get access to that content, maybe online?

  5. Tamara,

Contact the customer service dept at the publisher...sorry, but I don't have any control over that...although with all future books, I'm going to handle that myself. Sheesh.

  6. Wow. Thanks for the quick response. I just got off the phone with Elsevier support and basically I am SOL since i did not purchase from them. I really like the Kindle format but I think I'll return the eBook and get the actual book from Amazon. I'm fairly new to windows forensics and want to get the most out of it. This is a great easy read even for a newbie. Great job!!
