Patching Saga

If you're running Windows XP SP2, you want to take a look at a critical update that was released...uhm...hold on...on Tues. From the "SYMPTOMS" section of the article:

"After you set up Microsoft Windows Firewall in Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2), you may discover that your computer can be accessed by anyone on the Internet when you use a dial-up connection to connect to the Internet."

Hhhmmm. Install XP SP2, and the nifty new firewall (albiet ingress-filtering only!!) is only inplace for network connections other than dial-up? Ooopppsss!
